I can’t believe how fast January is flying by…How are you feeling about 2020 so far?
My little family left 2019 in chaos and greeted the New Year with the hope that things would be promising, uncomplicated, healthy & happy.
One of the things I do that makes me feel good, like I’ve accomplished something, is raising funds for smaller charities who need some awareness and money. I’m really proud of this show, it’s Cast, it’s annually changing Local Celebrities and the funds we’ve already raised. The 2019 recipient of funds was CCMF–Community Concerns For The Medically Fragile. The 2020 DWTS beneficiary, in light of the #MeToo Movement, the strong resurgence of the threat to Women’s Rights and Body Autonomy and the increase in Human Trafficking, there was no question in my mind that the funds needed to go the the Sexual Assault Survivors’ Centre.
